Sharp Dressed Dogs

Bailey was our Lucky #13 foster dog we took in for American Brittany Rescue when we were volunteers. She turned out to be our hardest case to that point and the decision was made that she should stay with us because of the abuse she took in her former home. Early on we second-guessed ourselves on that decision but over the years Bailey has learned to trust us and that she is truly home.

She earned her nickname The Bug because of her constant bugging to go out, to go running, to go go go! She is very birdy and has a pretty point but never did learn that she needed to stay in the same county we were in when hunting so her birdwork has been limited over the years. However she is quite happy with chasing any kind of critter or bird that happens to come into the yard.

Bailey will be 11 this year and we've had her since December of 1999. She still enjoys running with the other dogs in the yard and she loves going along to shows and field trials and vocalizes her excitement quite loudly!
