10/17/09- Pennsylvania Brittany Club-Polk, PA;  Jet - 2nd place AGD (18S)

9/26/09- Ohio Brittany Club- Kildeer Plains, Ohio; Jet 4th place AGD (15S)

9/5/09- Buckeye Brittany Club - Kildeer Plains, Ohio; Tilly gets her first adult gun dog placement by going 3rd in the AGD (8S)

Spring? 2009 Field Trial Season- the weather doesn't feel like spring yet! But here we go!

5/3/09- Pennsylvania Brittany Club Horseback Trial-Polk, PA; Jet places 3rd in the OGD (25S)! On his 7th Birthday!

4/4-4/5/09- Gordon Setter Club of America Horseback Trial- Kildeer Plains, Ohio; Flynn places 2nd in the ALGD (8s) and 2nd in the AGD (11s) First horseback handled placements on very tough grounds!

3/20/09- ABC EASTERN FUTURITY-CLEAR SPRINGS, MD- CRUZ PLACES 3RD IN THE GUN DOG FUTURITY! 18 STARTERS!

MARCH 2009- JAYHAWKERS LUCKY JACK CDX CGC FINISHES HIS OPEN OBEDIENCE TITLE WITH 3 STRAIGHT 1ST PLACE WINS!!! HE'S A SON OF JET AND TESS AND OWNED BY THE HARTLMEIER FAMILY IN WISCONSIN! WAY TO GO AUBREY AND GREG!

HUGE NEWS!! JET FINISHES HIS AMATEUR FIELD CHAMPIONSHIP AT THE SUSQUEHANNA BRITTANY TRIAL WITH A 4 POINT WIN IN AMATEUR GUN DOG! THIS QUALIFIES HIM FOR THE THIRD YEAR IN A ROW FOR THE AMATEUR GUN DOG NATIONALS!!

3/14/09 Susquehanna Brittany Club- Wellsville, PA- Jet WINS the Amateur Gun dog for a 4 pt win to finish his AFC title! This is our third trial this year and he has placed at every trial so far!

3/7/09 Buckeye Brittany Club- Kildeer Plains, OH- Jet places 4th in the AGD with 13 starters. Cruz ran a GREAT derby race and pointed birds in the AWD but didn't place. We were very happy with his performance!

2/19/09  Weimaraner Club of Louisville walking trial-Petersburg, IN- Jet places 2nd in tough 22 starter OGD stake! The other kids did well but no ribbons. Joey ran well in derby and found and pointed birds with style and Flynn also did a commendable job on Saturday until his handler goofed. So a good start to 2009!

Fall 2008 Field Trial Season- JET FINISHES #7 IN THE EAST/CENTRAL GUN DOG AWARDS!

12/7/08 Michigan Brittany Club walking trial-Highland, MI- Jet placed 3rd in AGD (14)

12/6/08  Michigan-Saginaw Brittany Club walking trial-Highland, MI Jet places 2nd in AGD (14S) for 1 pt and 3rd in OGD (14S)

11/16 ISCA NATIONAL WALKING FIELD TRIAL- Eagle, WI- Flynners WINS the Amateur Gun Dog for 2 pts (12S) and Joey places 3rd in the Amateur Puppy & Amateur Derby!!!

11/8  Oak Ridge Pointing Dog Club-  Jet places 2nd in the Open Ltd Gun Dog and Flynn placed 3rd right behind him. Joey takes a 4th in the Amateur Puppy!

9/19/08   Irish Setter Club of American Quail Classic- Joey places 2nd in the Derby Classic!!!

9/20-9/21  Irish Setter Club of Ohio- Joey places 4th in Open Puppy and Jet places 3rd in Amateur Ltd Gun Dog

Spring 2008 Field Trial Season has come to a close for Sharp Dressed Dogs. We had a great time, alot of fun and some success along the way! Now it's time for summer show season!

2/1-2/2   LaSalle Brittany Club Walking Trial- Cruz places 2nd (13S) in Open Puppy!

3/1-3/2   Buckeye Brittany Club Field Trial- Cruz wins the Amateur Derby (6S) and places 2nd in Amateur Puppy (6S)

3/29-3/30  LaSalle Brittany Club Field Trial- Cruz places 4th in Amateur Puppy (10S)

3/30-3/31    ABC Central Futurity- Joliet, Illinois- Tilly places 3rd in the Show in Senior Females (8S)

4/12-4/13  Niagara Frontier Brittany Club Field Trial- Cruz places 4th in Open Puppy (12S)

4/19-4/20 Niagara Frontier BC Walking Trial- Cruz places 2nd in AWP (4S) and AWD (6S) Jet places 3rd in AGD (22S) and Flynn places 4th in AGD (22S)! Good weekend!

4/23-4/25  ABC Eastern Futurity- Medford, NJ- Tilly places 4th in Senior Bitches in the Show portion and has a nice run in the gun dog futurity. We were very pleased with her.

5/3-5/4   PA Brittany Club Field Trial- Cruz WINS the Open Puppy (12S)!!! Jet places 4th in Open Gun Dog with (27S)!

5/10-5/11 Vizsla Club of Gr Cleveland- Flynn places 2nd in AGD (14S) and Jet places 4th also!

5/17-5/18 Anthracite Brittany Club- Cruz wins the Open Derby (5S) for 1 pt and Jet places 3rd in the open Gun Dog (33S)!!!

2007 ASSOCIATED BIRD DOG CLUBS OF OHIO- JET IS GUN DOG OF THE YEAR!

2007 ASSOCIATED BIRD DOG CLUBS OF OHIO - TILLY IS DERBY DOG OF THE YEAR!

Well the 2007 Fall field trial season is over. Our dogs had a great time and we had a nice bit of success. Tilly placed her last time she will run in Open Derby. Jet got his Amateur GD major and qualified for the 2007 GD Amateur Nationals and the 2008 GD Amateur Nationals. And Cruz got his start in Open Puppy placing both times he ran. We have a few shows planned for winter 07/08 but most of our efforts will be focused on getting Tilly ready for futurities and running broke stakes in 2008. We'll continue Cruz's show and field education and keep Jet and Flynn in shape for the Spring season! We hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Wonderful Holiday Season! Carl & Kristi Anglen

TILLY GOES WB AND BOW FOR A SPECIALTY 3 POINT MAJOR!!! She now has 12 points towards her show championship!

          

And Getting a Kiss from Dad for being such a good girl today!!

 

Spring 2007 Field Trial season has come to an end. We have had alot of fun, met many new friends and have had some success with the dogs along the way. Please see the complete records of each dog on their individual pages. We look forward to Fall 2007 but now it's time to get ready for dog shows and Brittany specialties! See you there!

Spring 2007- Jet places 2nd in the Amateur Gun Dog and earns a point towards his AFC!!!

2006

Our big news here at Sharp Dressed Dogs for 2006 was the birth of the first litter sired by Jet born 3/9/06. The lovely babies are out of Ch Jayhawker I'm A Teddy Bear Too RN owned by Ann Harris. Litter bred by Lori Haldorson. Our stud fee puppy Tilly has already gotten a great start to her show and field career and we hope some of the other puppies will follow soon.

 

2006 Brags:

Jet places 2nd in a 5 point Gun Dog Stake to pick up his first 2 field points and has multiple placements in Open GD and Open Limited Gun Dog handled by Jesse Chapman.

Flynn finishes his show championship and competes in his first field trials.

Tilly gets her first field point by winning the Amateur Puppy at the Ohio Brittany club trial and in the same month goes Winners Bitch for her first 2 show points at the Delaware Kennel Club show. Also placements in Amateur Derby for her in the month of October.

Tilly wins the Amateur Puppy stake at the Niagara Frontier Brittany Club walking trial 11/18/06. It's a 2 point win and she now has her Amateur Puppy points towards her AFC. She also placed 2nd in Open Puppy and 3rd in Amateur Derby at the same trial. Tilly ends 2006 with 8 placements- 2 blues, 5 seconds and 1 third place in Amateur Puppy, Amateur Derby and Open Puppy stakes.

Jet earns Junior Hunter titles scoring straight tens his first time out handled by Carl.

2005 Brags

Flynn, Sammy and Jet all earn Rally Novice titles.

Flynn earns his Junior Hunter title in 4 straight hunt tests.

Jet gets 3rd place in Open Gun Dog at only  his third field trial handled by Jesse Chapman.

2004 Brags

Jet finishes his AKC show championship handled by Helen George.

Jet gets a Gun Dog group first at a UKC show handled by Kristi.
