Sharp Dressed Dogs

Our dogs are purchased or bred with the idea of having excellent family companions, show quality dogs who meet their breed standard and who display ability and desire in the field. We also promote well-trained obedient dogs who retain their natural breed tendencies. In other words we enjoy putting obedience titles on our dogs but do not want mechanical robotic workers. Our dogs are bird dogs first and foremost and in that capacity we do like to see independence and ability to problem solve. So while you will probably never see a high in trial obedience dog at Sharp Dressed Dogs- you will ALWAYS see dogs who get to do what they are bred to do in the field and who also enjoy being in the showring and obedience/rally rings.
