JET FINISHES HIS AMATEUR FIELD CHAMPIONSHIP AT THE SUSQUEHANNA BRITTANY CLUB TRIAL ON 3/14/09 WITH A 4 PT WIN IN THE AMATEUR GUN DOG STAKE!!! THIS QUALIFIES HIM FOR THE AMATEUR GUN DOG NATIONALS FOR THE THIRD YEAR IN A ROW!

Jet- AFC/Ch Requets Above And Beyond JH RN- is our first champion here at Sharp Dressed Dogs. He is a beautiful white and orange Brittany who has brought much joy and happiness to our home. He finished his AKC championship before turning 2 years old and his wins along the way included a 5 point major Best of Breed win over ranked specials being handled by Helen George. Since then he has been owner/handled to several Best of Breed wins along with being owner/handled to his Junior Hunter and Novice Rally titles.
After finishing his show championship we decided to have him evaluated for the field. Jesse Chapman of Smokerise Kennel broke Jet and ran him his first few seasons for us earning several pts from the Gun Dog stakes towards his Open championship. In late 2006 Carl took over the handling and he and Jet have since gotten Jets Amateur Field Championship and earned 6 points towards his FC. Jet loves the field and is an easy handling extremely stylish gun dog. We are continuing on the road towards the dual with him and all of our thanks to Jesse Chapman- without him this never would have happened!

Jet has sired one litter out of Ch Jayhawker I'm A Teddy Bear Too CD RN resulting in a finished show champion who is also dual pointed- Ch Jayhawkers Runnin Down a Dream owned by us-please see Tillys page. Tilly starts her gun dog career in 2009 and we have high hopes for this lovely young bitch. Jet is also is the sire of Jayhawkers Lucky Jack CDX CGC who is a High in Trial Obedience dog owned by Greg Hartlmeier; Way to go Greg & Aubrey!
